OMG Alfie just flew to the ground and ran over and bit the dog on her side  luckily Phoebe is ok. I was so surprised cuz I thought she would have defended herself and try to bite back before I could get over there but she tried to run away instead with Alfie biting her.

Alfie is getting so aggressive over the hallway rug, the shoe rack and sometimes the study. Most of the time I can get to him before he attacks but this time he moved faster then I could get there.

I'm so proud of Phoebe for not attacking back but at the same time I feel so bad for her cuz the birds have taken over the house.

OMG! you Alfie is lucky he didn't get chomped. Poor Phoebe! Extra treats for her tonight for running away! I'm glad she's OK. If the hall doesn't need a rug and it's a small rug I'd hide it for a while. ;)

My dogs usually turn or run away from the birds too. It could be from my warning them early on.

My dogs and cats both get out of the way of the birds. My fear is of a reflex reaction should one be attacked when asleep. I mean who can blame a bad reaction when being awoke by pain. I have to watch some of my birds like a hawk about the floor issue and they have a 3 strike rule. If I have to pick them up 3 times they go back to the cage. I count each time. Some of them will actually turn around if I catch them climbing down and say THHHRREEEE.

If anyone ever comes up w/ a real solution for keeping birds off the floor I'll kiss them. It's very aggravating.

TG, they are BOTH OK.

My grey Tango used to aggresive to the other animals (6 cats and one dog) in my house. Then I got a blue and gold macaw I named Tiko. Now Tango has put his aggression towards the other animals away, and instead is very aggressive toward Tiko. I have to monitor them very close when they are together.

Now my other animals only fear Tiko who chases them down like they are prey and he is hungry. It is funny to watch. Thank GOD I never let Tiko get to them.

I have learned that birds are a prized species full of lots of love once you gain their trust.

My grey is my most aggessive towards my other animals too. Duckie and Petey will avoid them, but Jocko singlemindedly wants to bite them, and chase them while laughing.
I usually put her back in her cage too, I'll have to count like M2Mom does to teach her a lesson.

Aren't they just little treasures from heaven? I tell my birds that GOD needs to do a recount because He is missing a few angels. The funny thing about that is neither of my birds are little angels. lol.. But I love them like they are.
